The »HURRICANE CELL« is our State-Of-The-Art reference model, featuring high efficiency, linear impedance behavior and minimal phase shifting. This model equally suits for combination with single ended triode as well as transistor amplification. Unconventional design solutions and perfect craftsmanship make them outstanding in many respects.
The »HURRICANE CELL« is a very powerful 4-way System using innovative AIRFLOW and RESONANCE technologies for closed cabinets and the best available components have been used by our designers to create a speaker system that combines old world`s craftsmanship with cutting edge engineering in a perfect way.
At ARTOS Audio we stand for a pure, timeless design which integrates perfectly into high quality interior design concepts of the speaker itself and domestic environments as well. Special designed ceramic drivers systems are supplied by the renowned manufacturer Accuton. For a deep and precise bass reproduction three 9" ceramic woofers and two 7" ceramic woofers are used. A 7" ceramic midrange driver delivers a smooth and rich vocal timbre while a 1.2" ceramic CELL-Concept-Tweeter takes care of the high frequency range.
Because these drivers are custom made by Accuton to match the behavior of the AirFLow-Cabinet, we have been able to develop a crossover that uses only a few high quality parts from Mundorf. The perfect phase linearity and impulse response are the result of this design.

The »THUNDER CELL DIAMOND« is made for just those music lovers, looking for nothing but the best. – while not being able to set-up a Hurricane. The main differences are:
1. The Black-Diamond-Tweeter
The extremely low weight and the unsurpassed stiffness of the Black-Diamond membrane enable a nearly linear frequency-response of up to 100kHz.
2. The Crossover
While some manufacturers simply change the tweeter (Black Diamond instead of ceramic), the »MIRAGE DIAMOND« uses a completely new designed crossover with different parts and additional circuits.
